Enabling Australian investors to contribute to a better world, locally.

Why Ethical Development Fund Australia?

There is a national shortage of Specialist Disability Accommodation, affordable housing, medical and allied health facilities. We believe this issue shouldn’t exist, which is why investors like you are so important to building solutions. Ethical investing should aim to produce a return, yet also benefit another human being.

Choose to invest and impact the future of others.

There’s a choice to make when it comes to investing. Your money, invested with EDFA, makes a genuine impact amongst a diverse and often marginalised community of Australians who can experience a huge change in circumstance.

Together, let’s shape the future of those around us.

Investing where it counts.

Health Precincts

Australia has an ageing population and the healthcare system comes under additional strain, people want well located medical and allied health services.

The Funds Managers will continually monitor the market demands and trends for the medium to long term.

Key Worker Housing

The affordable housing sector has upwards of $400 billion worth of housing to be constructed over the next decade. We work with community housing providers, Commonwealth institutions and not-for-profits to help fund housing in desirable locations for affordable housing programs.

Bioenergy

COVID-19 is fast tracking the transition to renewables. Recovery programs are focussing on going green and there are very real concerns about stranded assets in fuel and natural gas markets.

Carbon Negative Data Centres

Data centre construction projects in Australia continued during COVID-19 as the construction is classified as essential under Australian COVID-19 regime, and a vital sector to keep the economy of the country running.

Disability Housing

The NDIS is Australia’s first national, Government-backed scheme specifically created for the 4.3 million Australians who have a disability, including 460,000 under 65 with a permanent and significant disability.

Around $9 billion worth of housing is required.

Exploring Options

As the EDFA grows, we’ll be pursuing additional avenues of ethical investing throughout Australia.

Our core focus in 2021 FY is integrated medical centres with Queensland’s largest NFP GP.
